This quirky yellow vase with copper 'armor' is made by Dutch artisan Chris Hendriks. It had a really fun element of surprise: you can display this piece with or without the copper armor element. The vase on it's own, also has a magnificent color and texture.

It even has a beautiful rose shaped 'stopper' which can be removed. It is perfect for displaying dried flowers or left on its own as a sculptural piece. This piece is not watertight. 

Hendriks is known for his playful shapes and material combinations. All his work is the result of his curiosity about the possibilities of different materials.
