This hand turned plate is made by Dutch master artisan Jan Hovens. The wood used for this plate is beech with a beautiful so called 'sleep' pattern in it.
Please pay special attention to the incredibly beautiful wood patterns. The way Jan processes the wood ensures that the wood feels silky smooth. The color and texture is truly amazing!
You could use this plate for dinner party's or to display something you love. But it also looks beautiful just on it's own.
Jan likes to play around in his workshop and one day desided to create elegant little pots, just for fun. The playfulness of Jan's way of working reinforces the mastery he manages.
