This lovely pot is made by Dutch master artisan Jan Hovens.

The base is made of viburnum bark with an elegant lid made of nut oak and beech. You could use this pot as a treasure box for something you hold dear or as a decorative object somewhere in your home. Whatever you will use it for, it's made to make you smile. 

Jan likes to play around in his workshop and one day desided to create elegant little pots, just for fun. The playfulness of Jan's way of working reinforces the mastery he manages.

His specialty is making screw caps and he teaches this technique to others from all over the world.

Please pay special attention to the detailed design of the lid. It is incredibly hard to make something so detailed at such a small scale.
